Paperback Trader in Lewisville

image-3Had to take the truck to the shop for a downed window (again) and decided to browse the local paperback shop. Paperback Trader is a great little shop, and I do mean little, but I love to browse. The great thing about this place is their trade-in program. It breaks down like this. All books are half of the cover price. Easy enough. If you trade in books, you get 25% of the cover price on them in credit. Then use that credit on half of what your purchases cost. I’ve heard some complain about not getting any cash back. Well, most of the time your gonna turn around and put it right back into books so why not do it there. Another person complained that they didn’t have a more current selection. Well, that selection depends on people bringing their books to them. I like reading current stuff, but there are so many great titles that were written last century that I’ve got my hands full keeping up with the titles. In fact, in this last visit, I found some great titles from the 50’s and 60’s. Check out these covers.

  1. This store closed & went out of business May 2010. 20% of any credit you had with them may be used at Books and More, 1626 W. University Dr., Denton, TX, 76201, Ph.(940)387-9022. They are 1 1/2 mi. E. of I-35E @ Malone, on the N. side, next to Dollar General. Please let them know how much you appreciate their generous offer, and let them become your new bookstore!
