This looks to be hilarious and I can’t wait for December 22, 2009. Of course, I’m one of those guys that doesn’t own a copy of ‘Blue Harvest’ but that is about to be rectified. The clip below has some great scenes. My favorite one is the “nerfherder clip”.
I hope that all of you can find some reason to be thankful this holiday season. This is a tough time of year and this year has hit some folks especially hard. So, in the upcoming weeks, if you get the chance, reach out and lend a helping hand in any way that you can. Sometimes, even a smile towards someone is enough when they find it hard to do themselves. Finally got a trailer for this movie and I have to admit, I’m impressed. I was not really digging the whole Jake Gyllenhaal as the Prince. He has buffed up and has a whole new look. Now we’ll just have to wait until May to see if it’s worth the hype. Are any of you worried about if it will live up to the game or does it matter? Let me know?

ALL NEW! Star Wars Gangsta Rap: Chronicles
I just picked up my copy of ‘Star Trek’ and can’t wait to watch it again. And again. And maybe again. I’ve already seen it three times. Once with my wife, once with a friend, and once with my father-in-law. I even thought about taking a stranger to see it. I don’t know why I love it so. It may be that the actors captured that old camaraderie of the TV show. I would sit and watch with my father and we loved the back and forth between Kirk and Spock or Spock and Bones. The new actors did a great job in bringing that to the movie.
While I was out, I also picked up the Disney/Pixar film, ‘UP’. I didn’t get a chance to see it in the theater but everyone has had nothing but praise for it, so I had to grab it too. I’ve always loved Ed Asner and think they couldn’t have picked a better voice for Carl. What movies, theater or DVD, are you looking forward to watching?
I can’t get over how cool this movie looks! I had reservations about a remake. Granted the original wasn’t that great, but no Burgess Meredith, no Ray Harryhausen and no Bubo. But you get Liam Neeson as Zeus and that works well enough for me.
