Star Trekker Treat at Fort Worth Museum of Science and History

There will be fun for all ages at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History on October 26, 2013 as they present Star Trekker Treat. The evening will begin for the kids at 6 PM as the party gets underway with Star Trek themed activities. You can learn to write your name in Klingon, with a Blood Wine Ring Toss or even compete in the Star Trek costume contest. You can even win an awesome Star Trek prize! All who attend will receive a glow-in-the-dark STAR TREK: INTO DARKNESS movie poster. Following will be a presentation of the movie STAR TREK: INTO DARKNESS in the Omni IMAX theater.

At 7:30 PM the party gets underway for the adults but with adult beverages, if so desired. The adults can view the movie in the Omni IMAX at 9:50 PM. For more information, check out Fort Worth Museum – Star Trekker Treat.

This is a pretty cool place to visit. I got a chance to meet Robert J. Sawyer, David Brin, and Tom McCaffrey at an event back during the summer which also had a viewing of STAR TREK: INTO DARKNESS.  Though we didn’t get the cool posters, it was still a great event to listen to these amazing authors and see the movie on such a grand scale. Hint: Sit a little more than halfway up and you’ll get a better view of the screen. If you get to go, let us know how it went!
